Harrington Merges with Emery Insurance

Effective October 1, 2009, Emery Insurance Agency has merged with Harrington Insurance Agency to operate as one entity!

This change will create a stronger organization by combining the financial strength and capabilities of Harrington’s eight offices with Emery’s knowledgeable and professional sales and service staff. Emery’s five employees, two of which are Notaries, will join Harrington and continue to service their customers.

Emery’s office, located in Cambridge, MA, provides Harrington with a business location in the Boston Metro area, giving Harrington customers more options for service.

 With this merger, Emery customers as well as Harrington customers will have additional product offerings available to them through the diverse insurance carrier relationships of both entities. Emery will also extend some additional service features to its customers through Harrington’s interactive website, www.HarringtonSaves.com, which allows customers to manage their insurance needs on a 24/7 basis.

Operating as an office of Harrington Insurance Agency, Inc., the Emery brand name will continue to be used for customer recognition purposes. We expect this transition to further raise the excellent level of service that customers already enjoy from doing business with a local insurance agent. Local people helping local people...now that makes sense!
